Created in 1906, Montblanc became the international market leader in luxury writing instruments. The brand has therefore existed for more than a century and has seen many extraordinary characters who have marked our culture and that we still pay tribute to today. Montblanc therefore decided to create a "limited edition" collection in memory of these historical figures.
This time, the choice fell on Miles Dewey Davis, the most famous jazz musician of the 20th century, who had a colossal influence on this genre of music. He was a trumpeter, which is why the artisans of Montblanc wanted to be inspired by a trumpet for the shape of the pen, then the pistons on the clip and the cone that evokes the mouth "Heim". On the body, Montblanc has engraved the phases of the evolution of American jazz that follow Miles Davis.
Finally, the artisans engraved the female silhouette on the pen and the color of the cone refers to his album "Kind of Blue". 1926 is his year of birth and is also the number of copies of this pen. And the figures of 2006 were engraved on his ring: his year of entry into the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame.
