Description
The Sanayi 313 shoes are luxury mules (or sabots), known for their artisanal design that blends oriental and western aesthetics.
These are closed-toed slippers, often called slippers or babouche, characterized by being open on the heel.
Distinctive features: Footwear is famous for its rich handmade decorations, such as elaborate embroidery, tassels, fringes and metal applications. The model in the photo has a braided embroidery with tassels pendants in black and gold, high complexity of craftsmanship.
Materials: Fine fabrics such as velvet, faille or raffia are often used, with leather linings and soles.
Origin: The brand was founded in Istanbul by brothers Enis and Amir Karavil together with designer Serena Uziyel. The shoes are inspired by the traditional Turkish craftsmanship of the Ottoman Empire but are handmade in Italy.
